How You Can Help American Equines, Both Wild and Domestic

Please Contact Your Members In Congress Today!
Ask them to support the Save America’s Forgotten Equines Act (SAFE Act) in the Farm Bill

This bill permanently prohibits the slaughter of equines (e.g., horses and mules) for human consumption. (Current law prohibits the slaughter of dogs and cats for human consumption. This bill extends the prohibition to equines.)

When calling your Representative,

Simply Say:

Please add the SAFE act H.R.3475 in the upcoming amendment process of the Farm Bill.

It requires no appropriations funding and literally just requires the two words, "and equines" to be added as an amendment to the Dog and Cat Meat Trade Prohibition.

By supporting this simple amendment would have absolutely no negative effect on the Beef Industry as it would only apply to Dogs, Cats, "and Equines."

Thank you!

When calling your 2 Senators, Simply Say:

Please add the SAFE Act S.2037 to the Farm Bill's Final Language.

Thank you!
